I think I found something weird in my candle after burning it for a while?
Inside each candle is a foil pack. It’s a gift from our family to yours, so don’t wait to open it up! Keep it for yourself or you can give it to someone else.
How do I remove the surprise jewelry from my candle?
At Hope in the Light Candles your safety is always our priority. Don’t put your hand in the hot wax as it may cause your skin to be burned. Use a pair of tweezers to pull the foil packet out of the liquid wax. Next, dry it off with a paper towel. Finally, allow the foil packet to cool for a few minutes before unwrapping
What type of wax do you use?
We proudly use naked soy (i.e. all-natural soy wax) as it is better for the environment, your health, your home, and your entire family. Paraffin wax releases more toxins into the air as it burns, along with an unwelcoming black soot.
Are there essential oils in your candles?
Yes, the majority of our candles contain essential oils. Not only do they benefit your health, they also naturally enhance the scent. Simply filter by the “essential oils” tag on our shop page to locate them quickly.
I don't want to throw away my candle vessel after the wax is gone, are there other uses for it?
Yes, consider them as a ring box, change holder, key holder, little candy jars, or a paper clip container! The possibilities are truly endless, be creative. They are all beautiful vessels, no sense in just throwing them away.
Can I purchase a large quantity of candles for a special event?

How does ordering gender reveal candles work?
You first need to place the order through the gender reveal page or the contact us page. Please make sure when ordering that you enter in the correct gender. We will not mark on the outside of the vessel to give away any gender hints or clues. The surface of the candle wax is white, but as it melts down, it will reveal a blue or pink announcing the gender. In the middle of the candle wax, there is also a special surprise for the baby.
